This is a business modeling cohort which we advertise as the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program. To help translate the skills learned in the military to entrepreneurship, Veterans Florida, SPC, and the Greenhouse (An extension of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce) have joined forces to offer the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program, a 6 to 8-week cohort-based learning initiative that highlights the fundamentals of launching and growing a business and connects you to a network of other veteran business owners. The program is free to qualifying veterans and their spouses and includes:
• Help defining your business objectives
• Networking opportunities & support from mentors
• Guest speakers & opportunities to collaborate with veterans organizations, local businesses, and chamber of commerce members
• Interactive Instruction in the areas of:
◦ Customer Segments & Value Propositions
◦ Marketing & Branding
◦ Cost Structures
◦ Business Development & Raising Capital
