Florida’s First Stop for Military Transition
Veterans Florida is a nonprofit created by the State of Florida in 2014 under Section 295.21, Florida Statutes. We manage the state's Veteran Education and Training Services Program and partner with VISIT FLORIDA to position Florida as the most veteran-ready state in the country.
Our purpose is straightforward. Connect transitioning servicemembers, veterans, and their spouses to careers with Florida employers. Train veterans and spouses for the careers Florida industries are hiring for now. Help veteran founders launch and grow companies here. Make the case to businesses across the state that hiring veterans is the smart move.
The result: more veterans choosing Florida, more Florida employers hiring veterans, and more veteran-owned companies started in the state every year.
